# Parking lot

So I'm sitting here in the office again. As a warm-up and gentle start
into the day I might also write an entry here.

Yesterday we picked up our stuff we ordered at the pickup point. I
walked to meet wife there. Since I have not taken this route for quite
a long time, I was amazed how full the parking lots were yesterday.
There is an office complex on the way with many companies and the
attached large parking lots.

It was a few minutes after 3 p.m. (as I like to start and finish work
early) and there were maybe 10-15% of parking spots unoccupied. 
Seems like work from home is over for these people. I think there is
no obligation anymore for employers to offer WFH as most of the corona
restrictions have been lifted (no masks in Intercity Express trains,
yay!).

Fortunately my employer did not change the mobile working rules, so we
still have the option to work from home anytime we want.

Yesterday my Pentel fudepen arrived. As I dozed off after we got back
home, I had little time to try it out in the evening. I can just say I
like it. Did some Roman cursive with it, looked great.
