# Aestate summa

According to the calendar it should be high summer outside, but the
thermometer shows 17 degrees C and it has been raining all night and
all day long.

We are in a hotel near the Hessian-Bavarian border as after visiting
family we needed some time for ourselves. Clearly we picked the worst
week weatherwise. On the radio they are constantly babbling about
the need for security measures on sizzling hot days as we'll have
plenty of those because of the climate "catastrophe". Yeah, look
outside you fools.

Fortunately the hotel complex has an indoor pool, but we also tried
the outdoor ones in the rain yesterday. It's a pity that I cannot swim
in the lake in front of the hotel, the water is really cold. But this
location we can bookmark and come back when the weather is nice.

My favorite shell app Blink moved to a subscription model so I am
connected to SDF-EU using Termius on my phone right now. Typing is
thus not really convenient so that's it for today.
