Server and network utilites for legacy systems
       __________________________________________________________

Network and server utilities that I used in machine tools
and legacy industrial equipment. I can say that this is the
result of my working life expressed in the archives of server
and network software. In fact, you have almost the entire
history of the development of networks before your eyes
       here.

The HotLine protocol is a communication protocol designed
for peer-to-peer file sharing and messaging. It was
developed in the mid-1990s by Hotline Communications,
a software company based in Canada. HotLine protocol
provides a platform for users to connect and share files
directly with each other, without the need for a central
server. It allows users to create private chat rooms, share
files, and even search for specific files within their
network. The protocol also supports features like password
protection, user authentication, and data encryption for
       secure communication.

receive Ethernet packets using your network card. The
packet driver specification is widely supported by both
old and new Ethernet cards. mTCP should work on any
IBM PC compatible with an 8088 or better CPU/96KB
to 384KB of system memory, DOS 2.1 or newerm and
       network card, serial port, etc.

This is a program for remote control of the Windows 9x/2000
system, which allows you to work on a remote computer, via
the Network, as if it were your own.
Attention! As a result of non-competitive practices, some
antivirus programs call this software potentially dangerous.
This is due to the fact that the developers of this application
in 2015 were unable to agree with three antivirus companies
to cancel this decision. Thus, 9 antiviruses consider this
application safe, and three antiviruses consider it potentially
dangerous due to commercial disagreements. Hit of local
       networks 2000-2003!

(ARC) Free cap portable 1.38 for Win32 [1 654 kb]

Some programs do not see the Internet if your network

you to connect even the most capricious programs to the
       Internet.

(ARC) DDos ping LAN stress test util for Win32 [9 kb]

DDoSPing is a remote network test scanner for the most
common Distributed Denial of Service programs (often
       called Zombies by the press).

(ARC) SSF for Win32 [17 kb]

This utility will transfer a files between two computers
using a TCP port of your choosing. One computer uses
Passive mode and listens on a port for a connection from
the other computer, which will use Active mode to connect
to the first computer via its IP address. Here Windows 98
and Windows XP versions this software.

interact with IRC networks. It provides a user-friendly
interface for joining chat rooms, chatting with other users
and exchanging messages for Windows 9x/NT/XP/7.
A distinctive feature is the ability to create interactive
scripts, for example bots based on this client.

(ARC) Toffee IRC DOS client [77 kb]

Toffee IRC is an easy to configure text client for DOS.
The launch is carried out through the START.BAT file,
which also contains a detailed description of the work
written by me. The CONFIG.IRC file contains settings
for connecting to the IRC server. Before starting work,
connect your DOS machine to the network using MSLan
manager or mTCP from the local networks subsection.

       My advice from my experience:
Find an unnecessary old computer in the trash or your
old warehouse, install any Legacy version of Windows
there and make your own corporate IRC server in 5 minutes.

(ARC) sPRINT IRC server 0.7.35 for Win32 [90 kb]

I think this is the smallest IRC server in the world.
It is intended for use within local networks, communities
of friends, and also in places where serious moderation
       is not required.

Join Me! is an simple IRC server written from scratch for
the Win32 operating systems. It's written in Delphi using
object pascal language. Based on the 1459 RFC, and
experimenting the mIRC client and Bahamut server messages
and replies makes it possible to use it with many IRC client
programs like mIRC. It's very easy to use since it features
       a friendly windows GUI.

(ARC) Conference Rooms 1.7 Fixed - IRC Server for Win32 [3 783 kb]

This is a professional IRC server of corporate standard.
Unlike modern analogues, you are not required to delve
into thousands of lines of configuration files and
understand server command templates. This server has
a simple and intuitive GUI. This server has been used
repeatedly as a corporate chat. If you want your own IRC
server with a couple of hundred channels and users, which
will work on any computer from the garbage can, then this
       is your option.

 (ARC) IRCplus 1.5 Fixed - IRC Server for Win32 [4 744 kb]

A cult IRC server in the late 90s and early 2000s. Many
big IRC networks used this solution. Perhaps it was
popular primarily because of its simplicity and usability.
In fact, all server settings are located in one window,
in the form of a tree-like administrator menu. Unlike
modern analogues, this solution also does not require
you to endlessly dig into configuration files. And any
computer from a trash or warehouse will do to run it.

(ARC) WircSrv 5.07 portable Fixed - IRC Server for Win32 [468 kb]

This is an irc Server for windows. Simple, easy to use
and administer. I tested it on three IRC clients, all works
fine, no installation required. Just unzip and run. All
       problems are fixed by me.

       ..........................................................

BBS (Bulletin Board System) messaging protocol

ICQ (ICQ Instant Messaging Protocol) is a real-time messaging
protocol that allows users to communicate with each other over
       the internet.

Mirabilis, the company behind the official ICQ messenger,
filed a lawsuit against the developers of the Private ICQ
Server 1.3.0.67. They viewed this server as a dangerous
competitor to the official ICQ and sought to eliminate
it through legal action. Mirabilis believed that the Private
ICQ Server posed a threat to their business and the security
of their users. As a result, the server and its developers
were effectively removed from the scene.

(ARC) Private ICQ Server v1.3.0.67 [262 kb]

The Private ICQ Server v1.3.0.67 program allows users
to create their own ICQ server instead of icq.mirabilis.com.
It is designed for organizations with their own intranet
network or groups of friends who want to communicate
separately from the main ICQ server and do not want their
messages to be read by "Big Brother". With this program,
users can send messages, files, URL links, and utilize other
functions available on the main ICQ server.
Registration in ICQ Server is possible in two ways. Through
the client (for example ICQ 2000) and through the server
admin. Uses the UDP version of the Oscar protocol.
       System requirements Windows 9x-NT/2000/XP.

(ARC) ICQ Groupware server [5 013 kb]

Corporate ICQ server from 1998. There is only one single
compatible client specially created by Mirilabs for these
needs. Works great and without problems in Windows 95,
98, NT. The archive also contains a patch for fixing symbol
display errors and clients. Although, perhaps, it is possible
to select an alternative client for this version of the
protocol. But no one has ever done this. Even me...

(ARC) SIq ICQ server + update patch [8 825 kb]

A simple and convenient pirate ICQ server, working
as a service. Runs under Windows 9x - XP/2003. Does
not store user correspondence, but only configuration
and connection logs in a file database. Supports Oscar 5
and 7 protocols. Works with a limited number of Miranda
       v 4.0 clients. Jimm 7.0, as well as &RQ 0.9.7.2. I added
compatible clients to the archive. Among the noticed bugs
in some versions of the Windows 2003 build, the server
service is automatically turned off. The reason is unknown.
Registration is possible through a PHP form for the site
or through the creation of an account file by the server
       administrator.

The File Service Protocol (FSP) is an UDP alternative
