If that can help, u can find few native gopher servers for Windows:

       ftp://ftp.uni-rostock.de/pub/systems/windows/WinNT/EMWAC/PUB/gophers/
       filename: GSI386.ZIP
       ftp://ftp.chatnfiles.com/InternetTools/INFOSERV/GOPHER/PC_SERVE/HAMBURG/GO4HAM/
       filename: GO4HAM.ZIP

It is possible to build *native* python aplications for Windows with
"embdebed" python. It will be just big (few MB for simple program).
And yes, it will be great for all peoples who dont or cannot have
       python installation in Windows.
