       While I do understand Mateusz' concerns, I think that there are 
       reasonable defaults.
       
       One other possibility is using make (I would use mk 
       <http://plan9.bell-labs.com/sys/doc/mk.html> (you can get sources for 
       UNIX at <http://swtch.com/plan9port/unix/>) to automate it. I suppose 
       this could be done by the Gopher(+) server just in time, but as they 
       say, disk-space is cheap.
       
       In the end if you do not want Gopher+, or this feature of it in 
       particular, do not use it.
