[Greetings to solderpunk.]


One of the things I've been doing lately is writing a short screenplay
which features a fictional religion, and as a consequence of that I went
and did a bit of study about a variety of religions.

At this point, I went off on a very large tangent and got quite engaged
in studying different religions and this has really turned into a
project of its own, although one without any specific end goal as yet.
This isn't a personal quest for meaning (I'm perfectly comfortable in
my own religion--you'll be able to guess which this is from the
resources I host here), but rather a quest (I guess) for broadening my
horizons and understanding other people better.

I've specifically decided to try and gain a deeper understanding of the
religions of my friends, as well as a couple of others that have piqued
my interest.

Today I took part in a Wiccan class about spellcrafting and plan
(read: hope) to write about my experiences of this soon.
