Wholemeal Bread This is a simple recipe for wholemeal bread. It yields a fairly heavy loaf. 1 tsp yeast 1 tsp honey 1-2 tsp salt 2 cups white flour 2 cups wholemeal flour 1 cup warm water 1 cup cold water Preheat oven to 50C. Mix yeast, honey, and warm water and let sit for 15-20 minutes. It should begin to foam. Add yeast mixture and all dry ingredients to large mixing bowl. Mix and add further cold water as needed. Transfer mixture to floured bench and knead 10-12 times. Transfer to oven tray. Rise at 50C for 30-40 min then bake at 180C for 40-45 min.
