* Exported from MasterCook * Bacon Corn Sticks Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Breads & Rolls Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups yellow corn meal 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 1/2 cups buttermilk 4 slices crisply cooked bacon -- crumbled 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs Heat oven to 450. Grease corn stick pan. Mix all ingredients; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Fill each stick section about 7/8 full. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Can be baked in a round pan, or 8 x 8 pan.
