---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.03 Title: PRUNE BREAD Categories: Breads Yield: 6 servings 1/2 lb Dried prunes 3/4 c Boiling water 1 3/4 c Flour 3/4 c Sugar 1 ts Soda 1/2 ts Salt 1 ea Egg 2 tb Salad oil or melted crisco Soak prunes in cold water 2 hours; drain. Pit prunes; chop. Add boiling water; let stand 5 minutes. Sift to-gether flour, sugar, salt and soda. Add prune mixture. Beat egg and add. Add salad oil or melted crisco. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in 325 oven 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on rack. -----
