---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Monkey Bread Categories: Dessert bre Yield: 12 servings 1 c Milk 1/2 c Butter or margarine 1/4 c Sugar 1 ts Salt 1 pk Dry yeast 3 1/2 c All-purpose flour 1/2 c Butter or margarine; melted Recipe by: Southern Living Preparation Time: 0:25 Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; heat until butter melts. Cool to 105 degrees to 115 degrees. Add yeast; stir until dissolved. Let stand 5 minutes. Combine flour and milk mixture in a large bowl; stir until blended. Cover and let rise in a warm place (85 degrees), free from drafts, 1 hour and 20 minutes or until doubled in bulk. Punch dough down, and shape into 1-1/2-inch balls; dip each in melted butter. Layer balls in a greased 10-inch one-piece tube pan or Bundt pan. Cover and repeat rising procedure 45 minutes or until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool in pan 5 minutes; then invert. Yield: one 10-inch ring. -----
