* Exported from MasterCook * Rum Balls Recipe By : Lisa Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 120 g semi-sweet chocolate (4 oz) 15 ml whipping cream (1 Tbsp) 30 ml rum (2 Tbsp) 180 g icing sugar, sifted (1 1/3 cups) 40 g chocolate vermicelli or nonpareils (2-3 oz PROCEDURE Over slow heat, melt the chocolate and stir in cream and rum. Beat in the icing sugar until mixture is fairly stiff. Roll into small balls and coat with the chocolate vermicelli. Place on a cookie sheet, and refrigerate for several hours. RATING Difficulty: easy. Time: 15 minutes preparation, several hours cooling. Precision: approximate measurement OK.
