---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: MAPLE PECAN PRALINES Categories: Candies Yield: 1 Servings 1 1/2 c Sugar 1 c Maple syrup 1/2 c Milk 1 tb Butter 1/2 ts Salt 2 c Pecan halves In a saucepan, combine sugar, maple syrup, and milk. Place over low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook without stirring to 238 degrees or until a few drops of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat, add butter and salt. Cool to lukewarm, then beat slightly, just til thickened a little. Do not overbeat or it will go to sugar. Quickly stir in the peacans and drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. -----
