* Exported from MasterCook * Cookie Ice Cream Dessert Recipe By : Barbara Lull Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 24 Oreo cookies 1 stick butter -- melted 1/2 gallon mint chocolate chip ice cream 1 jar chocolate fudge or hot fudge syrup -- heated 1 large carton Cool Whip creme de mint liquor -- optional Cookie crums or chocolate pieces -- optional Crush oreo cookies in blender (they should be a powdered consistency). Mix butter and cookies together and press into a 9x13" cake pan (suitable for the freezer). Freeze 15 minutes and top with softened ice cream. Freeze again till solid. Spread jar of fudge over the ice cream and cookies and freeze again (for a real treat you can also add Creme de Mint liquor at this time). Freeze again until solid. Spread cool whip over top and decorate with chocolate sprinkles (pieces or cookies), if desired. Freeze overnight. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
