* Exported from MasterCook * Crown Jewel Dessert Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 small boxes Jello -- assorted colors 1 small box Lemon jello 2 pkgs Lady fingers 1 cup Pineapple juice 1 pint Heavy cream 1/4 cup sugar Make the 3 boxes of Jello by mixing each flavor with 1 cup hot water and 1/2 cup cold water. Pour each flavor into an 8" square cake pan and refrigerate until firm. Line a spring form pan with lady fingers. In a sauce pan, mix the pineapple juice, sugar and lemon jello. Stir to boiling point and then let mixture set in the refrigerator until like a syrup. Beat the heavy cream until firm. Fold in the lemon mixture. Cut the jello (that is in the 8" pans) into 1/2" squares. Fold the jello cubes into the whip cream mixture. Pour this into the spring form pan and refrigerate for 6 hours. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Note: In place of the lady fingers you can also use a graham cracker crust made up of 2 c graham cracker crumbs and 1 stick of melted butter.
