* Exported from MasterCook * Cocoa Sorbet Recipe By : Martha Steward Living, July 1997 Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Guest Low-Fat Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/4 c cocoa powder 1 c brewed coffee 1 tbsp dark rum Combine sugar, 3 1/2 cups water, and salt in a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved completely. Whisk in cocoa powder. Remove saucepan from heat; stir in coffee; let mixture cool slightly; add rum.
