MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Caramel Chocolate Trifle Categories: Five, Cakes, Chocolate, Dairy Yield: 16 servings 9 oz Box devil's food cake mix 7 13/16 oz Instant chocolate pudding - mix (2 boxes) 12 oz Tub whipped topping; thawed 12 1/4 oz Caramel ice cream topping 8 oz Bag English toffee bits or - almond brickle chips Prepare and bake cake according to package directions for an 8" square baking pan. Cool on a wire rack. Prepare chocolate pudding according to package Cut cake into 1-1/2" cubes. Place half the cubes in a 3 qt trifle bowl or large glass serving bowl; lightly press down to fill in gaps. Top cake with half each of the whipped topping, pudding, caramel topping and toffee bits; repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
