MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Barbecue Meat Mexican Style (Soft Tacos De Carne Asada) Categories: Sandwich, Meat Yield: 8 Servings MMMMM-------------------AMERICAN MEASUREMENTS------------------------ 3 lb Lean steak; up to 4 lb 2 ea Oranges; juice of 2 ea Limes; juice of 1/2 c Beer 2 ts Vegetable oil 2 ts Pepper Salt to taste 1 tb Garlic powder 24 ea Corn tortillas 1 sm Head green cabbage; chop fine 2 ea Bunches radishes; sliced 2 lg Tomatoes; diced 1 bn Green onions; sliced 1 bn Fresh cilantro; chopped Salsa Marinate the meat in the orange and lime juices, beer, vegetable oil, pepper, salt to taste and garlic powder for 2 hours in the refrigerator. Drain the marinade and discard. Sprinkle the meat with a little vegetable oil and cook in a heavy skillet or on a grill. When it's done, slice thinly. Warm the tortillas in a hot, dry skillet for a few seconds or microwave on high for 40 seconds. Fill with meat, cabbage, radishes, tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro. Serve with salsa.
