MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Greek Lemon Sauce (With Egg) Categories: Greek, Sauces Yield: 4 Servings 3/4 c Water; boiling 1 1/2 ts Cornstarch; dissolved in 1 -1/2 ts water 1 Egg; (whole) 1 Egg yolk 3 tb Fresh lemon juice 1/2 ts Salt Stir cornstarch paste into boiling water. Boil for 1 minute. Beat egg plus yolk until light and fluffy. Add lemon juice, beating. Gradually pour hot liquid into egg-lemon mixture, constantly beating (use a wire whisk.) Return to pan.
