* Exported from MasterCook * Beef Fried Rice Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Ground Beef Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Lb. ground beef 1/2 Head cabbage (small) 1 Small onion -- diced 2 carrots -- diced 1 green pepper (medium) -- diced 2 eggs (large) -- beaten well 1/4 Tsp. m.s.g. 1 Tsp. garlic powder 2 Tbsp. oil (vegetable or olive) 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 1 1/2 C. rice (instant or raw) Cook rice in advance and let cool. Dice all vegetables in advance. Brown ground beef with 1/3 of onion. Drain fat. Remove the beef from pan. Take 1 teaspoon of oil and put in the pan and heat. Take the beaten eggs and 1/3 of the onion and cook until the eggs are hard scramble. Remove and put in a bowl. Take the leftover oil and place into pan and heat, then put in your carrots, green pepper and onion and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add m.s.g., garlic and the cabbage and cook for 1 minute. Add ground beef to mixture; set the heat low. Add rice and soy sauce; mix up until it is well blended and serve. (Vegetables should be fresh.
