* Exported from MasterCook * Tasty Pasta and Tuna Salad Recipe By : Helen Deacey Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Seafood Theme Week Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups medium shell pasta 1 cup red bell pepper -- julienned 1/2 cup carrot -- grated 1/2 cup green peas -- frozen & thawed 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions 1 can solid white tuna in water -- drain and flaked (7-1/2 oz can) 1/2 cup fat free Italian dressing Cook pasta in boiling water, do not add salt. Rinse pasta under cold water, place in a bowl of cold water to stop cooking, when pasta is cold, drain well. Combine pasta and next 5 ingredients in a bowl; toss gently. Add dressing; toss well. Makes 4 servings ( about 190 calories per 1 1/2 cup serving and 1.7g. fat ). - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : This a combination of several recipes, also if you find the Italian Dressing sharp, use a artifical sweeter to sweeten, just a couple of grains or 1 drop of liquid should be sufficient.
