* Exported from MasterCook * Stuffed Bell Pepper With Corn Bread Dressing Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Ground Beef Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Doz. medium bell peppers (plus 4 to cut for seasoning) 1 Lb. ground beef 1 Lb. shrimp 2 Slices raw ham salt -- cayenne pepper and sugar to taste 1 Medium onion 2 toes garlic 1/2 Bunch shallots 1/2 Bunch parsley 1 Tbsp. thyme 1 Small Box corn bread mix -- (4 oz.) 4 Tsp. sugar Prepare corn bread mix (add 4 teaspoons of sugar); bake and let cool. Cut bell peppers in half; wash and clean. Saute ground beef, onions, garlic, and bell peppers until done. Add shrimp, parsley (chopped), shallots, salt, and cayenne pepper. Crumble cornbread in pan, add ground beef mixture; mix together and stuff bell peppers. Steam for 15 minutes before serving.
