                              APPLE STUFFING

  Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

   7      cups          bread crumbs
   3      cups          apples -- diced
   1      cup           onion -- minced
   1      cup           seedless raisins
   1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
   1 1/4  cups          sugar
     1/2  cup           melted butter
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper

Mix all ingredients well but lightly.  Stuff  and close bird.  Enough for
small turkey or goose.  Bake accordinly to pounds of foul.
