* Exported from MasterCook * Crunchy Garden Peas and Green Onions Recipe By : Nathalie Dupree, Cooks, TVFN, 1996 Family Dinner Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:10 Categories : Vegetable Dupree Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 5 tablespoons olive oil 2 cups shelled green garden peas 3 green onions with stems -- chopped Salt and freshly ground black pepper 3 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil 3 tablespoons grated imported Parmesan cheese Hot pepper Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan. Add the peas and green onions and saute 2 to 3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the optional basil, cheese and/or hot pepper flakes to taste.
