MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING------------------------------- Cheese; melted Nuts Wheat Germ Sprouts After a long day of riding, finding a campsite, and setting up camp, there is little energy left to make an elaborate meal--it's time for the stew that's made camp cookery easy--the one pot meal. As the name indicates the one pot meal is made from start to finish in one pot. There is no measuring of ingredients; the stew depends entirely on you and your companions' tastes and appetites to create. Experiment with combining ingredients; what you thought was a mistake might result in a delicious concoction! The one pot meal has six basic components: * Protein * Starch * Sauces * Seasonings * Vegetables * Topping That allows for infinite variety. Simply select the ingredients from each category that you think might go good together and start cooking. Start cooking base ingredient in water. When half-cooked, add veggies. Cover and steam. When carbohydrates are almost cooked, add cooked protein and seasonings. Stir gently and simmer. Add sauce and more water if stew is too thick. Simmer until veggies are tender. Add topping and serve!
