* Exported from MasterCook * Roast Beef in Cumberland Sauce Recipe By : Freeze With Ease copyright 1965 Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beef Freezer Meals Make Your Own TV Dinners Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 jars (10 oz each) currant jelly 2 egg yolks 1/2 cup raisins 4 tablespoons vinegar 4 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard salt and pepper -- to taste 1 1/2 cups (up to 2) cold roast beef Over hot water, stir currant jelly until soft. Beat in egg yolks, raisins, vine gar, sugar, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Stir the sauce, occasionally, until it thickens, about 15 minutes. Pour over co ld roast beef.
