MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Marinated Olive & Cheese Ring Categories: Vegetables, Cheese, Herbs Yield: 16 servings 8 oz Cream cheese; cold 10 oz Sharp white cheddar cheese; - in 1/4" slices 1/3 c Pimiento-stuffed olives 1/3 c Pitted Greek olives 1/4 c Balsamic vinegar 1/4 c Olive oil 1 tb Minced fresh parsley 1 tb Minced fresh basil +=OR=+ 1 ts Dried basil 2 cl Garlic: minced 2 oz Jar pimiento strips; drained Chopped Toasted French bread Baguette slices Cut cream cheese lengthwise in half; cut each half into 1/4" slices. On a serving plate, arrange cheeses upright in a ring, alternating cheddar and cream cheese slices. Place olives in center. In a small bowl, whisk vinegar, oil, parsley, basil and garlic until blended; drizzle over cheeses and olives. Sprinkle with pimientos. Refrigerate, covered, at least 8 hours or overnight.
