---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.03 Title: STUFFED MUSHROOMS Categories: Appetizers, Vegetables Yield: 6 servings 1 lb Mushrooms, fresh 1/4 c Salad oil 1/3 c Water 1/2 lb Pork, spicy 1 ea Garlic clove, crushed 1/2 c Bread crumbs 1 x Bacon Clean mushrooms and remove stems from caps. Brush caps with some oil and place in a baking dish (13 by 9 inch for standard serving size). In skillet, cook bacon (or sausage) until no longer pink; remove from heat. Drain off all but 2 tbl* of drippings. Add bread crumbs and chopped stems. Spoon crumb mixture into oiled mushroom cap. Pour water in bottom of baking dish. Bake 20 minutes. *Quantity for standard serving size. -----
