---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Hummus (Makes 2 Cups) Categories: Appetizers, Ethnic, Vegetables Yield: 1 Servings -ESTELLA DOLL (NXXS13B) 15 oz Can garbanzo beans, -drain & reserve liquid 1/2 c Sesame seed (available -at any bulk foods dept.) 1 cl Garlic; cut in half 3 tb Lemon juice 1 ts Salt Chopped parsley; garnish Hummus is really simple, & a lot of recipes try to make it really hard. My husband is Lebanese, and this recipe comes from his family. In blender, blend bean liquid, sesame seed & garlic until mixed. Add beans, juice & salt; cover & blend on high, scraping sides of blender if necessary, until smooth. Garnish with parsley. You can serve this with veggies or as a spread inside pita bread.
