                              Cracker Jacks

   2                    poppers of corn or 2/3 c. unpopped corn
     1/2  cup           molasses or honey
     2/3  cup           sugar
     1/2  cup           corn syrup
     1/4  teaspoon      soda
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   1      tablespoon    oil or butter
                        ---other version---
     1/2  cup           honey
   2      cups          sugar
     1/4  cup           condensed milk
     1/2  cup           maple hot syrup
                        butter

Boil sugar and corn syrup to hard ball stage.  Add salt,  soda and  oil or butt
er.  Mix over corn well and put all in oven at 350 to 375 degrees for about 15 
minutes or until crisp.  Watch and stir.  Remove from pan and put on plate or s
uch and break up when cool.

 Boil honey, sugar, milk, maple syrup and butter until hard ball stage and pour
 over popcorn and mix.  Burnt sugar adds flavor.
