MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Mint Julep Fruit Cup Categories: Alcohol, Desserts Yield: 4 Servings 1/3 c Sugar 1/2 c Bourbon 2 tb Fresh mint leaves; minced - -OR- 1 tb Dried mint; crumbled 4 c Fresh fruit; such as -strawberries, peaches, -mango, pineapple In a small saucepan combine the sugar and 2/3 cup water, bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and simmer it for 4 minutes. Let the sugar syrup cool. In a large bowl stir together the sugar syrup, bourbon, mint leaves, and fruit, and chill, covered, stirring it 2 or 3 times, for 2 hours or overnight.
