* Exported from MasterCook * Root Beer Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Beverages Mixes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- -7 Patricia Dwigans 2 c 2 C Granulated sugar 1 Tsp Dry yeast 1 Qt -hot water 1/2 C -warm water 4 Tsp Root beer extract Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Dissolve sugar in 1 quart hot water mix together dissolved yeast, sugar and root beer extract in a gallon jar. Fill jar with warm water and stir until all ingredients are well combined. Cover jar set in warm sun for 4 hours. The root beer will be ready to drink the next day.
