* Exported from MasterCook * Chevre Torta Recipe By : http://www.evo.org/user/kumquat/recipes Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 Ounces cream cheese -- softened 8 Ounces goat cheese -- (chevre), softened 1 Clove garlic crushed -- up to 2-cloves 1 Tablespoon olive oil 1 Teaspoon thyme 4 Tablespoons prepared pesto sauce -- well drained 1/2 Cup roasted red peppers -- drained & chopped Crackers or french bread 1.Line 1 quart bowl or loaf pan with plastic wrap. 2.Place cream cheese, goat cheese and garlic in food processor or mixer, proces s until well blended. Add oil and thyme, blend well. 3.Place one third of cheese mixture in lined bowl. Spread pesto over cheese. Ad d half of remaining cheese mixture. Spread with chopped red peppers, and top wi th remaining cheese mixture. 4.Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. To unmold, place bowl u pside down on serving platter.
