MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Simon Bao's Hoisin-Peanut Sauce Categories: Vietnamese, Sauces, Chilies, Nuts Yield: 4 servings 1 c Hoisin sauce 1/2 c Water 1/4 c Rice wine vinegar 1/3 c Pureed or finely minced Yellow onion 1 tb Ground chili paste 1 tb Chopped roasted peanuts for Garnish Put first four ingredients into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 to 7 minutes. Add a little water if too thick. Set aside to cool. Transfer mixture to a sauce dish and garnish with chili paste and chopped peanuts.
