MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Healthy Turkey Chili Categories: Poultry, Beans, Vegetables, Chilies, Beans Yield: 12 servings 1 lb Lean ground turkey 3/4 c Celery; chopped 3/4 c Onion; chopped 3/4 c Green pepper; chopped 2 tb Chilli spice mix 1 ts Ground cumin 1/4 ts Pepper 1/4 ts Cayenne pepper 29 oz Diced tomatoes (2 cans); - undrained 24 oz Meatless pasta sauce 16 oz Can hot chilli beans; - undrained 1 1/2 c Water 1/2 c Frozen corn 16 oz Can kidney beans; rinsed, - drained 15 oz Can pinto beans; rinsed, - drained MMMMM---------------------OPTIONAL TOPPINGS-------------------------- Sour cream, Avocado; diced Jalapenos; diced In a large skillet, cook and crumble turkey with celery, onion and green pepper over medium-high heat until turkey is no longer pink, 6-8 minutes. Transfer to a 5 qt slow cooker. Stir in seasonings, tomatoes, pasta sauce, chilli beans, water, and corn. Cook, covered, on high 1 hour. Reduce setting to low; cook, covered, 5-6 hours or until flavors are blended. Stir in kidney and pinto beans; cook, covered, on low 30 minutes longer.
