* Exported from MasterCook * Chili con Cervesa Recipe By : TJ Hill - Appetites Catered Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Mexican Entree Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 lb Ground round 1/2 c Onion -- minced 6 oz Tomato paste 12 oz Beer 16 oz Kidney beans -- undrained 1 ts Sugar 1 ts Garlic powder 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Oregano 1 ts Black pepper Combine beef and onions in a saucepan, over a moderate flame heat and stir for 5-10 minutes, until beef has browned and onions have softened. Add tomato paste and beer. Mix well. Add beans in their juice, chili powder, sugar, and garlic powder. Mix well. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
