---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Pumpkin Bread Categories: Breads, Quick Yield: 1 Loaf --ELAINE RADIS BGMB90B 1-1/2 c Sugar 1 c Pumpkin; cooked or canned 1/2 c Vegetable oil 1/2 c -Water 2 Eggs 1-2/3 c All -purpose flour 1 ts Baking soda 1 ts Ground cinnamon 3/4 ts -Salt 1/2 ts Baking soda 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg 1/4 ts Cloves 1/2 c Walnuts; chopped 1/2 c Raisins; optional 1. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, pumpkin, oil, water and eggs; beat well. 2. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. 3. Stir in nuts and raisins if desired. Pour into a greased 9x5x3" load pan. 4. Bake at 350° for 65 or 70 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to a wire rack. NOTE: Keeps well in the freezer.
