MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Elmira Peach Pie Categories: Pies Yield: 1 Pie 1/3 c All purpose flour 1/2 c Granulated sugar 1 c Thick dairy sour cream 5 c Peaches (9); quartered 1/4 c Brown sugar; lightly packed Preheat oven to 450°F. Prepare sufficient pastry to line a 9 inch pie plate. Trim and flute edge but do not prick. Beat with rotary beater until smooth: Arrange with flat edges down in concentric circles in the pie shell, 5 cups quartered peaches (about 9 peaches). Pour sour cream mixture over the peaches Bake in 450°F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350°F and cook for another 30 to 35 minutes or until filling is set. Sprinkle over hot pie 1/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar. Broil for 2-3 minutes until sugar is melted. Serve warm. Recipe FROM: MMMMM
