MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Lemon Tart Categories: Pastry, Citrus, Nuts, Fruits Yield: 10 servings 3 lg Eggs 1 1/4 c Sugar 1/4 c Lemon juice 1 tb Orange zest; grated 1/4 c Butter; melted MMMMM---------------------------CRUST-------------------------------- 1 c A-P flour 1/3 c Confectioners' sugar 1/2 c Ground almonds 1 ts Lemon zest; grated 1 ts Orange zest; grated 1/2 c Cold butter; in cubes Additional confectioners' - sugar Fresh raspberries (optional) Let eggs stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Set oven @ 350°F/175°C. Whisk together eggs, sugar, lemon juice, and orange zest. Whisk in butter until smooth. Set aside. For crust, pulse first 6 ingredients in a food processor until mixture forms a ball. Press dough onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9" fluted tart pan with removable bottom. Pour lemon mixture into crust. Bake until center is almost set, 25-30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Just before serving, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and, if desired, fresh raspberries.
