MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Mushroom Gravy Categories: Mushrooms, Vegetarian Yield: 6 Servings 6 Mushroom stems and gills -woody tips removed; up to 8 1 Onion; diced 1 sm Carrot; cut into pieces. 1 ts Cajun seasoning 1 ts Garlic powder 4 tb Butter 2 tb Mushroom powder 4 tb Mushroom breading flour for -fried mushrooms 3 c Water or broth 3 tb Worcestershire sauce 2 ts Parsley 2 ts Rosemary Add mushroom pieces, onion, and carrots to the food processor and season with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder. Process until mushrooms form a paste like texture. Use about 1 cup of the mixture for gravy and reserve extra to use in future mushroom recipes. Add 4 tb butter to a saucepan and melt over medium heat. Add 1 cup mushroom gravy base mixture to the pan and sauté in butter until fragrant.
