I don't remember what it feels like to think for myself free of *any* influence, and it scares me.

On the left, on the right: it's all tiring. Do I spend my time with people constantly discoursing about gender and sexuality, or do I spend my time with people constantly shouting racial epithets?

Do I have to choose?
