The scripture gives due recognition to Jesus as someone who
was risen  from the dead  and was  lifted up to  heaven, An
integeral part of Christ's Paschal Myster is His Ascension,
The   dimensions  of   Paschal   Msyter  are   cruxifixion,
resurrection and the ascension

Ascension is a saving event, Jesus' ascension to His father
did not  seperate him from  the world, Rather, it  made him
even more present to his disciples.

The  Ascension marks  Jesus' exaltation  into the  heavenly
realm of  his father, It  does not seperate Christ  from us
because as he  promised, from heaven he  "draws everyone to
himself".

Since  Crhist  lives  forever   to  make  intercession,  he
continues  to  exercise  his priesthood  since  he  entered
"heaven itself, that he might  now appear before God on our
behalf"

The ascended Christ as Head of the Church gives us, members
of his Body,  the hope of one day entering  into glory with
