1. Mark described Jesus as troubled and distressed
2. Jesus  sought strength and  courage to the one  who sent
   him

3. Jesus being  in the garden signifies his  being with his
   lover, the father, It is about love

4. Jesus  is communing Himself  to the Father who  sent Him
   that he found courage to face what was to come

*** IMPLICATION OF AGONY
1. Agony is an experience of physical or mental suffering
   
2. Jesus' agony is the garden was  a warm up for His coming
   passion and crucifixion

3.  Jesus  entered  into  a battle  that  would  ultimately
   deliver all humankind from satan

4. Jesus would have to  bear not only physical tortures and
   suffer but also our sins in His body on the cross

*** THE PRAYER
YER OF JESUS IN THE GARDEN
1. "Father if you are willing  ,take this cup away from me;
   still not my will but yours be done"
   
2. Jesus  found strength  and consolation from  his "Abba",
   the father who was so gracious and loving

3. Jesus found the courage to accept what lies ahead due to
   his commitment to the Father's will
