** CONTENT
Theaters involve with live  performances like plays, opera,
balllet  and  musical  theate, meanwhile  with  cinema,  it
involves with films that is recorded and two-dimensional

both  of these  things use  stories to  connect with  their
audience, whether if its live or its recorded.

*** KOMEDYA
This is  a traditional theatrical form  about the political
and  religious  conflicts  between   the  Muslims  and  the
Christians

It  was  first used  byy  the  Spaniards in  spreading  the
Christianity throughout the Philippines

**** SECULAR KOMEDYA
these are  commonly performed in fiestas,  the most popular
example is "Moro-Moro"

**** RELIGIOUS KOMEDYA
Talks  about  religion, an  example  of  this is  Sinakulo,
usually played during holy week

*** SARSWELA
This is  a type of  traditional spanish theater  adapted in
the  Philippines, it  portrays a  combination of  verse and
prose, spoken or sang during the performance

This became  popular to the Fiilipinos  inthe 19th century,
It  was  commonly performed  in  town  plazas and  revolves
around the theme of romance

*** BODABIL
This  was  originally  a   localized  version  of  Amerca's
vaudeville that  became popular in the  1900s, It consisted
of  a  song and  dance  performance  with slapstick  comedy
parts, magic  acts, skits, monologues,  acrobatic students,
and chorus women

Bodabil  served as  intermission  numbers  in circuses  and
local theatrical plays, It  primarily told about Philippine
heroes, people  nad the  ways of  life, The  kundiman songs
were also featured in bobadil performances
