hi hello hi there

GLAD

Grateful: i am grateful for access to quality health care. when my
    body isn't working well, i can see a doctor. when my mind isn't
    working well, i can see mental health care providers.

Learning: i've been updating some old blogs and have been fixing some
    goofy makefiles so that my builds are actually incremental now. i'm
    thinking about ripping out make altogether actually because i'm kind
    of over it. i have a couple of bash script replacements that ought to
    be good enough. or maybe ninja? i don't care about portability
    because i'm only writing for myself

Accomplished: I accomplished two tasks at work yesterday! That was a
    confidence boost.

Delight: P. brought me some leftovers from their work dinner last
    night and it was hella good. and then they left me two giant
    chocolate bars this morning. like the spiced girls said: if you wanna
    warm my heart then you gotta fill my belly

you can't repair your reputation regardless of what mr. wilde[1]
would have you believe because your reputation relies on the
observation and interpretation of other people, and you have no
actual control over that. i am aware that instead i should just focus
on building my own integrity by keeping my word and being diligent my
work. but how should i conduct myself and focus my energy while i
wait for the system to adjust.
