i am currently: baking some good ass black bean patties for dinner

i tried to walk the dogs earlier, but my legs hurt too much, and also i wasn't confident about the guest's harness plus leash situation. the hook kept slipping where it attaches to the harness. and if she got loose and ran away, i would not be able to catch her. so, i cut it short after just a couple blocks.

job searched today and yesterday. i find the process exhausting and tedious because i find it difficult to be "on" and talk about myself and be interested and interesting and charming all the time. nonetheless, had a couple of promising conversations.

had a session zero meetup last night with the Magic Girl group. some good energy there! i am looking forward to playing with them and being a magic girl. my character is using the 'time traveler' playbook. and i think we are going to be battling some petty gods of the dark dreaming. this game is going to be streamed on twitch, and then published on youtube and as a podcast. i hope it won't be too distracting knowing that while playing.

I accomplished three phone conversations and two applications, re: job search

I learned about Meal-Master. okay listen up, first i re-discovered netnews and the nntp protocol, and subscribed to all of the news on cosmic.voyage and on campaignwiki.org. I read them on Mozilla Thunderbird. Anyway there's a tilde.food+drink feed where this guy posted just like, hundreds of recipes. They are all in Meal-Master format, which was a very popular recipe program in the 90s. You can still download it run it on DosBox! Which is what I did.

Delighted... I installed a couple of new games for the playdate today including What The Crow which is a delightfully destructive little game. Short. Playtime is five minutes tops. also See The Sky. A beautiful little experience originally coded in HyperCard
