 I'd be remiss to fail to state that I completely disagree with the majority opinion on your
 submission of this article three days ago on Lobsters.  Neither the majority, nor, unfortunately,
 the implementation above, `masturbation.apl.` What is the proper method of viewing this file? I see
 this:

 ∇ z↠convert x;⎕IO             â   This exists purely because of the
 ⎕AV differences across implementations.

Hello Lettucehead; I'm glad you found some value in it.  The encoding of the masturbation.apl is
UTF-8, currently, but I'll be offering multiple encodings if I find a good one to also support.  If
you view the file in a common text editor, you should probably get the right result, dependent on
line ending conventions and whatnot.  For clarification, you'll see this; feel free to comment again
once you give it a read (Gopher users note this is UTF-8 and some spaces have been removed to fit):
