Recently on SDF's bboard[1] there was a discussion about Toki Pona. 
On reading a bit, I found the concept to be interesting, and I 
decided to try learning. Then I noticed that a gopher site that is in 
my list to follow had a page on the subject, and was offering gopher 
hosting... and so here I am on vernunftzentrum.de to write about my 
adventures.

Because life is particularly busy at the moment, I haven't gotten 
very far. I've read about the language, downloaded a few apps, and 
looked at ordering the book. My physical address is in flux 
presently, so I haven't ordered it. I may go with the ebook version, 
but I'm disturbingly fond of dead tree versions, so I may wait.

In the next few posts, I'll look at what resources are available on 
the wider web, and on gopher, and I'll phlog about that journey for 
now.
