Apologies for this train wreck of a post. It's just a quarter-baked thought and my mind keeps wandering. Due to other obligations I keep dropping this post and picking it back up, so I just pared it down to one ~/orientation comment. "Do not attempt to serve Javascript over gopher". Hrm, an odd request. Fine. What the gopher universe really needs is a gopher server running Javascript. Consider it Node.js for gopher. Goph.js. Does this qualify as a crime against humanity [1]? How do we treat thoughtcrimes against humanity? Luckily implementation would be a lot of work for what is essentially a joke. I may be nefarious but I'm also incredibly lazy, so that should balance out somewhat neutral. If I'm going to be expunged it's best for it to be prompt while there's nothing to lose. But seriously, Javascript is terrible.
