Reading about notetaking solution in different systems (even in Linux console). IMHO one of big problem with notetaking in Android is the lack of editors with the timestamp feature. One of the best editors from F-Droid - Markor - still hasn't implemented such feature. 

My "lateral" solution - sending email to myself via K-9. Timestamp, heading, text, automatic sync with all desktops. And small script, that takes email and turns it into my plaintext journal note.
