Edward  Willis  over  at   encw.xyz  wrote  recently*  about  computer
addiction[1]. No  earth-shattering revelations, especially  for people
who use gopher I think. But still worth reading and remembering.

Something that  occurred to me while  reading was that the  times when
this issue  is most marked  for me personally  are the times  when I'm
using retro  systems. I can  feel the  pull of the  connected devices,
with their  seductive ways. The  retro computing environment  is very,
very different for the brain. At least for mine.

* "Recently" in smolnet time. Quite recently, really.
